The highlight of the $ 1.2 million SCAM on Minecraft!

In recent weeks, a Minecraft project called Blockverse has been released, claiming that it is basically a Minecraft server exclusive only to people with a Blockverse NFT. Although selling access to private servers has been a done thing for years, it was thought that there were too many scams within the project.

On January 23, the Blockverse launched nearly 10,000 NFTs and generated $1.2 million from NFTs sold in less than 10 minutes. But allegedly the names behind the project deleted the Blockverse website, the game server and the official Discord channel a few days after earning all this money.

the $1.2 million Minecraft NFT project turned out to be a scam
The Blockverse, which has gone down in history as one of the biggest hits made on Minecraft, has led many people to call the project a scam, as you can imagine. After a few days of silence, the developers of the Blockverse apologized on Twitter, saying that they had made an important update.

The Blockverse team explained that they were panicking as the anger of people buying NFT increased and people started asking more questions (such as when to fix server related issues, why the fees were so high). After the team was confronted with messages of “harassment and threats”, he decided that the best move would be to delete everything and disappear with more than a million dollars.

In a statement, the blockchain team said: “Unfortunately, we have not yet had a chance to reopen because the situation seems to have worsened. Although we have delivered everything we promised, we understand why people are dissatisfied and feel the need to keep our fully functional game active." said.

One of the Blockverse team's statements was as follows:

“We feel that we owe everyone an apology and, more importantly, an explanation. The Blockverse was supposed to be a great project, because we spent a tremendous amount of time and resources before the launch. After the launch, we started Phase 2, which is a direct expansion of the Blockverse. We could not control the problems such as high fees during development, the Minecraft server could not keep everyone at the same time. Eventually things started to get out of hand.”

It seems that some of the people behind the Blockverse have noticed the legal issues they may be facing and are trying to clear their hands of everything by handing over their key code to the community. Although they were open to handing over the project, they also stated that they would not refund money.
